Tuition & Fees
Military Personnel & Spouses:
The Art Institute of Pittsburgh - Online Division offers a special military scholarship of 10% to eligible Active Duty, Active and Drilling members of the Reserve and National Guard as well as Spouses of Active Duty military personnel. Based on current charges, the military scholarship of 10% makes the cost per credit hour $411.30.
Veterans
The Art Institute of Pittsburgh - Online Division extends the military scholarship of 10% to eligible veternas.
Post 9/11 GI Bill Participants: The Art Institute of Pittsburgh - Online Division participates in the Post 9/11 GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon program. This means that veterans entitled to full benefit under the Post 9/11 GI Bill could have their entire cost of tuition and books covered for their effective period of coverage, based on current charges and current benefits.
Montgomery GI Bill: Veterans using the educational benefits provided for under the Montgomery GI Bill will find that a significant portion of their tuition expenses will be covered or reimbursed.
Fees
The Online Lab Fee, Enrollment Fee and the Application Fee are waived for Active Duty and Active and Drilling members of the Reserve and National Guard, as well as for Spouses of active duty military personnel. The application fee is waived for all veterans who qualify for the Veteran Scholarship.
Additional Information
To apply for the military scholarship Veterans should submit DD Form 214 showing anything other than a dishonorable discharge. Active Duty military personnel should submit their most current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) DFAS Form 702. Spouses should submit the servicemembers’ current LES or a copy of the DEERS Eligibility Letter.
